David Simmons, as our
New Head Golf Professional

We are pleased to announce that David Simmons, PGA is the new Head Professional at Providence Golf Club.  He replaces Bobby Green, PGA who has assumed the duties of General Manager at Providence.

David is a PGA Class A Member and is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a degree in Professional Golf Management.

David is an accomplished tournament player and was a member of the Delaware team which won the prestigious Williamson Cup in 2002.

You may know David as he was an intern at Providence from 2005 thru 2007.  He is an expert instructor who trained at GolfTEC and was Director of Instruction at the Rockwood Golf Academy in Midlothian before accepting the Head Professional position at Providence.
